SEASONS

What is wrong with media and others I keep seeing articles stateing ITS SUMMER, saw a poster for mid summer ball on the 16th of june, a news letter from plumeria2u said he had just come back from his summer break. As far as I can work out we are still mid spring summer starts with the solstice on 20th june I am I right or not please comment.

You're right Stumorphmac, but I think a lot of people determine summer by the weather these days and not the time of year. Our weather is so crazy, perhaps how we name our seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) should be dropped anyway and move to something more like 'the rainy' or 'typhoon season'.
