the buttons haven't been removed but the updated editor now places alot of buttons in the new insert dropdown of the editor (the icon next to the save one)

 

Found it (and the Remove Formatting button that's been moved to the other end of the bar)

what is your browser and internet speed?

 

I've always had the same problem as Shiney, whether it's at home, using mobile wifi, hotspots, etc. using IE10 Win8, but not Android Jelly Bean on the same connections.

Another thing that's increasingly becoming a problem is uploading images as I keep getting error messages until I save the image1.jpg I've been trying to upload as image2.jpg (without any modifications whatever) and then it will upload OK.

I had odd things happening when replying/quoting and just replying to posts this morning which seems to have stopped. I once had the Reply (AKA Quote) button produce a completely blank editor box.

@Marley Farley If the tagging system is working again, shouldn't the banner advising it's not working be changed?
