    how do I do a system restore?, not very pc literate!, pics are backed up.

    I wouldn't go for a system restore just yet, Strongy, at least until some really computer knowledgeable guys give you some advice. My line of thought is that doing a system restore does not get rid of the virus, just like it doesn't get rid of any up-date or new program you installed after the restore point.:mad:

      click the start menu, just type " create system restore point", then follow the prompts

          Took the tower in to a local shop, had an MOT, the pc not me:biggrin: , all viruses removed so it should be ok now.
