    I went back to the same Wyevale one week on from when the sale started, and they brought more seed packets out. There are still plenty left there (Heathlands Garden Centre near Wokingham)

    Hmmm ... maybe they forgot that they had some "refills" out-back?

    My local has removed the neat, organised, hanging racks and chucked the whole lot on a table now ... which is in the same place as the original hanging racks, thus converting a simple operation to find what you want into a time consuming process - so I suspect they will sell fewer packets than they would have done ...

    Last year my local did the same and within a couple of days it was just a great big messy jumble. This year they are all tipped out onto a big table, some are also in trugs scattered around. However so far they are still in reasonable alphabetic order, which makes me think not many people are picking them over this year.

    I'll have a closer look next time I go. I'd assumed they would just be the left-overs from the racks, but if there is a chance they've "topped them up" I might get some bargains :)
