I feel like a jailer with my lot. Always someone needing in or out! I tell myself they keep me mobile as as soon as I get settled back in bed, there comes a cry or a rattle at the door and up I get again. Love them all! All and each different and precious and each of them, being rescues, with their own foibles and needs . This wee girl was a street cat; had a massive phobia about doors. She is fine now.

That wall was the old cowshed; hand built 150 years ago

 

I have had to keep a very tidy kitchen since getting a cat; anything out to defrost has to be in a cupboard to defrost, all other food...biscuits etc...safely kept in cupboards at all times, used dishes and pans have to go in the dishwasher immediately, all empty containers straight into lidded bin - she came rustling into bedroom in the middle of one night with a crisp packet over her head, from uncovered bin. Love her to bits....

Introducing Tiger! He's a four year old retired racing greyhound and very handsome as you can see:


He came to me last month as a successor to dear Ken, whom I've just commemorated in the Rainbow Garden thread. As you can see from my old signature picture Ken too loved lying on this paving, especially in sunshine!


Tiger is settling in nicely, and proving good company in lockdown - he loves his walks, as well as "supervising" me and the neighbours (who keep a jar of treats for him) while we're gardening.

Today it's Barley's birthday he's 8.

Only pets we have now...
Harrison 12 year old Lhasa Apso, and twins, Sid (fluffy one) and Keith they are tea cup cherries, they will be 04 next month. Took Sid and Keith to the lakes last October to climb their first mountain, so pic is the top of Helvellyn, we did 3 peaks year before but didnt take the boys because we didnt think that they would be able to do it, but they had no problems doing Helvellyn, and were raring to go even at the top. Keith only weighs 4lbs and Sid 6lbs so they caused quite a stir when we reached the summit

@Victoria thank you for the welcome....sorry I always put a zero in front of single figures they are four years old in june. ....and those two guys arent actually on the forum, it's my hubby and youngest son I'm the one on the forum...here with youngest son

 

:spring:Welcome Dawn and very tall handsome son! My nephew is 6'4" and I am 5'2" so possibly similar... although I think you may be even shorter!
