Bella wants me to thank everyone for liking her photo

She usually keeps herself clean @Victoria but sometimes if she's had a 'loose' bowel movement it gets on her fur. It's difficult to help her with it because she doesn't like being touched down there so I wait until it has dried and then try to cut it out with a small scissors.

I have to brush her every day but it's difficult to brush her hind legs and around her bottom because she doesn't like it and bites me ... but I try to do it on the sly, as when I'm brushing her tummy or back I will take the brush all the way down sometimes when she doesn't suspect I'm going to do it

 

We go to bed at 9.30ish and watch a couple of programmes (often Perry Mason) and Van lies across my right hip and will let me wipe him. It is not often but the poor Butterball has difficulties at times. He is not overfed and is given measured portions as he is on a specific diet. But he does finish up anything Munch leaves.

 

A neighbour who used to live up our close had a long haired cat and sometimes I would see large patches of fur cut short on the side of his body. The owner said that he couldn't get the knots out so had to cut the fur.

 

It is as Michael said, with long-haired cats you need to brush them daily.

 

Yes and I don't know how often he would have combed him.

 

Lit a fire as we have the sharp winds again so Munchkin made herself comfortable in their bed by the fire with the draft excluder and some toys ...

 

Awww ..just look at her, so cute!! Must have a little word in her tiny fluffy ear though.....not a very ladylike pose.

 

Will do, I thought exactly the same thing. We say "toasting her toosh" from the Yiddish tochis.

Did you crochet the kitty blanket Vicky, very nice. I haven't had a chance yet to start practicing.

 

Yes, that is one of theirs. They have another on the lounge chair in the bedroom. By this weekend I will finish another people-sized lap one. I do a few hours a day.

 

Very clever Victoria you'll have to show us when you have finished. I've done crochet blankets for our dogs beds.
