A beautiful afternoon in the garden spent with Henry, Merlin and Herb

 

I see Herb is the sensible one. All cute babies.

 

This is Barley when he was still with the breeder, he liked to get under the bedding all the time, he was about 5 weeks old. We took him home at 7 weeks.

 

Now how precious is that! I love animal baby photos and I watch a programme several times a week on baby animals around the world.

 

Thank you Victoria, in those 2 weeks before we took him home, he turned into a very aware individual and still is, at first hubby couldn't cope with it and he wanted to re home him when he was 2 years old but I said no, I said to him if we did that I wouldn't have another one. But now everything is fine with hubby. It's nice to see all the baby animals.

 

This is how my two spend their afternoons, every afternoon.



Lily. That's not a bad perm. She has a toy jammed down the side of the cushion.



And Toby. Or Tobermory, as we call him for short.

 

They are beautiful. I wouldn't want to have to comb Lily. I have to do Van daily (he's like Pigpen in the sun) and wash his back with baby wet wipes weekly as he's too tubby to reach certain parts. He is very good and enjoys it. He is on a special diet and food is measured but it doesn't help.

Lovely cats @Jocko and @Victoria one of our dogs was having trouble with his weight when he was a lot older, it didn't make much difference when putting him on a different diet.

Barley lying in the doorway to the kitchen early in the morning. Moss used to lie there in the same way, he's from the same line, he's so much like him.
