ah that'll be why he's such a big boy so i just read my own post back & i hope you didn't think i was having a dig or anything...incase it came across that way! im not the spay/neuter police, honesti was only asking as i myself would love to have a cat again, a tom preferably as i love their big chunky look...but ours would invariably need neutering & most neutered toms never develop that look so i was just quirying as to when your boy was 'done' as he's such a fine strapping lad...i just could have phrased it better

This is our birman Symba, after a very rough start in life and a big operation for a hereditary condition ,without which he wouldn't have lived beyond 2 years old, he's now 11 and one very spoiled cat as you can see in the second picture taken last winter he feels the cold lol, fast asleep on his hot water bottle

 

simbad what a gorgeous coat he has!! do you need to brush him much?

Thanks Val he only needs brushing once a week his fur doesn't knot like the longer haired cats, he should have been a girl though as he loves being pampered only has to see you with the brush and nail clippers and he comes running purring his head off then flat on his back lol.

This is Tiffy, my little 11 year old staffie/jrt cross. She's a rescue and was a walking skeleton (no exaggeration) when she was found. Now a happy little dumpling who rules the roost in our house.

And Kai, my 8 year old German Shepherd boy, who happily lets Tiffy boss him around
