Slow pages

I keep telling you.
There is too many of you on here, maybe we need a rota.

 

Just when I thought it was back to normal yesterday..... Today it's GLACIAL.

 

All is okay here at the moment.

 

It's in fits and starts here, sometimes ok but other times v e r y ... s l o w

 

Painfully slow here today

 

Erratic here, log on ok but switching pages slooooow!

 

Same experience earlier. Seems very variable at present.

 

I now look at something else while I wait for the page to change, it's very irritation

 

A quick thumb through War and Peace???

 

I know its not a GC thing going on but there must be some big problem with some thing somewhere, today it slow, slow, quick, quick, slow never known a problem to last this long.

 

Tis moden tec going back up it's own backside, things are getting worse not better with this modren age, too many things changing but no one sorting out the mess that they change i hate to see what it will be like in a few more years, perhaps AI will invent the round wheel in stead of a square one

 

Slower than a slow thing this morning. Needs a shot of caffeine maybe.

Cloudfare really should get its act together as a lot of important websites rely on it. (I am not suggesting we are not important, of course, but vast numbers of people do not come here for their banking needs, etc.)

 

Something is radically wrong, it's been going on for a long time now, and nothing is being done. I'm wondering if it's deliberate. I don't trust anyone.
(N.B. Of course I'm not referring to the admin people on here, but to whoever 'owns' the site)

 

Who does own the site, out of interest?

I'm sure it is a Cloudfare issue, @Michael Hewett, as there have been reports of other outages due to their malfunctioning.

 

I have had very few issues with speed, yes sometimes it is slower than others and this varies from time to time. Similar to other websites I use.
Cloudflare do not currently appear to have any major problems in the UK.
The fact that it affects some people more than others makes me think it could be their service provider, or a problem more local to them.
Depends on whether it's just this site they have issues with or are other sites equally erratic.
