I'm often getting a blank yellow screen between pages now.

I hope it doesn't shut down completely like Grows-on-You did. The people in charge of it kept saying they didn't have time to do the necessary work, and it got worse and worse until in the end it closed down. This seems to be going the same way.

Ok at the moment, but not ok 5 mins ago. Maybe the site can't cope with too many of us clicking at the same time. But I don't really know how things work.

It's not because of too many on here but a matter of waiting for the technician to have time to migrate to another server and also do a lot of upgrades.

Apologies but I don't think it will be a quick fix.

That's what they kept saying on Grows-on-You, but they never had time, and in the end it got so bad it was unusable and they closed it down.

@Michael Hewett , do not fear. Our admin team will line the techincal people up by the hedge, advising them in a firm but friendly manner to get this sorted out now. The air will be thick with "Yes Sir"s , "certainly, Sir"s, "won't happen again, Sir"s and so on.

And the mob of us regulars will be just behind the hedge, tapping our forks and torches on our calloused palms.

On a more realistic note, it takes time and effort to sort out this kind of situations. I have been enjoying this forum for free for several years, not thinking about the actual people who devote their time to work on the technical side.

A big thanks to the team :)

And, can admin folks please re-post the donation link? A lot of unpaid work is going on so I'd like to donate at least something towards a cuppa and a bisquit.
