Hi LoL. I think you must be right about Photobucket. It never occured to me that they could be responsible for that problem.

I am glad to hear the Salvias are doing well. I am trialing some interesting new ones - will let you know how they go. I am very proud of my Salvia coccinea, which I sowed in my lightbos in mid November. It is now flowering - still inside the lightbox. It is a bit cruel though.

I grew coccinea for a few years Peter.
A very luminous red as I recall, might give it a go again sometime, along with the blue farinacea victoria something or other.
Another one I grew was clevelandii, not particually showy but the scent of the leaves was very unusual, I think more of a greenhouse plant though.

I think all your computers have been coming out in sympathy with mine as I had loads of trouble with mine for two weeks,so much so I was going to be a Grumpy Young Lady and throw it in the bin [IMG] :D Mr Kandy changed the Belkin card and got rid of two programmes and it worked until this forum started running slow

It is ok this morning thankfully, so whatever has been done has put it right [IMG] [IMG]

Pete - Salvia farinacea is lovely - but I would reccomend Salvia 'Mystic Spires' instead. Its a S. farinacea x S. longispata hybrid. I looks quite similar, but in my opinion is a much more robust plant and very long flowering. I couldn't get farinacea to overwinter in my shed (it is a perennial) but I have no problem with Mystic Spires, which may well be totally hardy (though I overwintered mine). Local garden centres have been selling it amongst the small plugs. Very easy to take cuttings too.

Sorry Shiney and others - a bit off topic. Yes the problems seem to have gone away.
