        Apparently a group of snails is called a hood.
        It says so on wikipedia, so it must be true. :WINK1:

            My other half has looked it up on Google and this is what he came up with. Escargatoire......that's a bit posh for your everyday snail! :heehee: No doubt French origin. :)
