Back in July I sold a projector screen on Ebay, the terms were "Buyer Collects" A lady won the bidding and duly paid for the screen via paypal. I haven't heard from her since despite sending lots of messages!!!! So what now??? Val
she perhaps does not want to travel to collect it and is ignoring your mails .... on ebay, you can find her contact details, which could include a telephone number ... give her a call if you have no luck contacting her, send one more message stating that if it is not collected within 7 days, it will be relisted , then sell it again on ebay ... hit the relist button, and everyone who had the item in their watch list will receive a mail, so you may sell it for more if she does eventually contact you, the 'gentlemany' thing to do is to refund her less the ebay listing fees and ebay commisions could be a valid reason, perhaps she is ill and laying in hospital, but my gut feel says she did not wish to spend money on petrol to collect it, so you may be lucky and get lots more than you anticipated
Yes, I could phone her but it somehow doesn't feel right to do that. What if something horrible had happened to her? highly unlikely I know but then I go phoning up about an uncollected screen!!!! Hmmm.................. Val
Sorry but i would email so you have proof and state if not collected in 7 days money paid will go towards relisting fees. To many muppets on eblag but its usually none paying
