    Just thought I'd show you how we power our traffic lights and street lights now ... this is on the way up to the mountains today going through a hamlet ....

    Some of our 'lit' road signs here use Solar power now as well, but I don't think they have worked out that they need fairly good light, as one I have seen is constantly in the shade of trees :D

    I think it's brilliant using what God gives us. They use them also for these flashing thingies where you go around corners .... in the road and on the roadside.

    T'other half was looking at a system the other day in the DIY for lighting all the garden and cost â?¬150 .... hmmmd ....haaaad ... decided yes, went back and they were sold out! Perhaps they will restock. We are looking to go solar in various respects given our location.

    We have a panel powering a warning sign on a dangerous bend on a hill known as'Fish Hill' ...The panel is nicked about once a month!:rolleyes:
