      Just gone right through the menu on the phone for the tenth time tonight and found out you can change it to record in MP4.:roflol:

          Not sure about this

          But if you convert AVCHD to MP4 you may loss some quality and the file size may get bigger, i think the AVCHD is a conpress file then when you convert it to MP4 it may not be a conpress file

          But i'm not sure and be talking out of my bigger rear end :biggrin:

            You may well be right @Jiffy .
            But as I've now worked out you can record in either I can bear that in mind depending on what I want to use the video for.
            Still got to try recording in MP4 so watch this space. :smile:

              I'm also wondering if it a problem with Autorun:dunno::scratch: Do you have any security programs, pete, on the computer? I had a problem with my new Desktop with the loaded W10 and my security system which would not run Autorun and I had to go into it and get it to Autorun.:doh:

                I've read through all 40 posts and probably understood just the short words in them :rolleyespink: :heehee:. But I'm the person who tried my new camera yesterday and couldn't get it to work - until someone pointed out that the lens cap was on! :doh: The other camera used to tell me if the cap was on :dunno:
