Strawberry Tubes

    Looking to plant strawberries in vertical tubes this year due to lack of space. What size pipe, holes etc etc

    Not me, but I have seen this done elsewhere, they used a 160mm waste pipe (I guess you could also use 110mm) then they drilled 50mm holes at different heights and at different places around the pipe, then suspended it all with some galvanized wire.............as per the link below, you will need a end cap for the bottom of the pipe, otherwise you will need up with a horrible mess on the floor! :snork:

    Looked a bit naff at first, but once the plants grow, it covered a lot of the pipe.
