Take care on windy days

For all those who keep allotments and, like my dad, have sheds built of whatever materials you've managed to get cheap/free

Take care to make sure your sheds and things are solid.

Went to see my dad today, as usual for a saturday afternoon. There was my dad, me, my missus and the lad, all stood wondering at his garlic that seems to be ahead of schedule because of the mild weather. When suddenly there was an almighty crash. All four of us spun round instinctively to see what it was, just in time to see a corrugated metal roof panel hurtling through the air, spinning like a giant ninja throwing star.

Luckily it missed us all, landing instead where we'd been stood gabbing moments before, but it could easily have done untold damage if it had hit one of us.

Its getting a bit windy here now, wind coming straight off the Arctic, just saw a Polar Bear fly past.
