Is it worth the £1.92 to install Tapatalk 4 on an Android tablet and what advantages are there?

 

No, don't have phone with internet, and don't have tablet, for me it's waste of money

 

I use tapatalk all the time on my iPhone, it makes it easier to switch between forums and I find it really easy to use. I can't speak for android but I imagine there won't be too much difference between them

 

It's very easy to upload photos from your phone with tapatalk. You just press upload and it takes you into photos on your phone, select which one you want and uoload, saves all the faff with a normal camera and laptop. I use it on a couple of forums and think it is brilliant.

Will I get 'posted from my XXX using Tapatalk ' at the end of every message, or is that easy to disable?

 

You can easily turn that setting off in settings

 

I also use the forum as normal from my phone, as although the tapatalk app allows you to like a post, you can't choose any of the others, like Agree or Funny :(

 

It's not! There must be a way of including them

 

Android Jelly Bean on my tablet allows the full range of likes, etc. to be used without using Tapatalk

I can see the page in its full glory if I view it on safari (the Apple web browser) which is on my phone, and choose Agree, Funny etc. it's just the tapatalk app

 

Are you saying that the Tapatalk App can actually restrict some facilities otherwise available in mobile device browsers?

So why does GC keep suggesting Tapatalk app for mobile devices if it doesn't work properly as well as IE from a PC? (or Android from a tablet?)
