Hi folks ,haven't had much time to myself lately due to a death in my brother in laws family .So today we all put everything behind us and went to "The Fair" as it locally known. You can judge the scale of it by this article from the BBC When we got to the seafront we found a ferris wheel so my five year old and I went up and here are some of the pictures. So heres a few pics of my hometown.

Rodders [IMG] looks more like THIS .Original Old Bushmills is really only a cooking whiskey(but good to drink as well :D )but the 10 &16 year old is by far the best in my opinion.Where I was brought up at we had a direct line of sight and smell when you had the right wind at 6am going to milk the cows was a real pleasure! Im guessing that you are in the J9 area of the M5 Paladin. Was down in Ross on Wye two years ago lifting potatoes.Nice part of the world down there. Also used to deliver into a bacon factory around Evesham somewhere about 8-9 years ago.
Gogs I'll be down the A75 this Friday night as usual heading for Stockport and Rugby .Been off the last three weekends so it will be good to get going again .Favourite part of the journey is from Lancaster to Carlilse coming up through the valleys and all the mountains in the early morning sunshine.Especially good when theres not a caravan in sight [IMG] :D :D

My photos dont really do it justice .Will take some more of the beach and surrounding area and post them shortly.Windy don't really go that far any more .I just do a run at the weekends to keep in touch with a lot of my mates, use it as a time to myself where all I have to do is concentrate on the road and forget about everything else.I go fishing for the same reason, its not about catching fish -its about getting out and enjoying the countryside, there ar'nt that many fish in the river but the craic (note spelling Roders :D )with the other "fisherpeople"(men and women on our river :D ).Wife often looks at me when I tell her I've been at the river for 6 maybe 8 hours and didnt put up the rod or get the waders on!
Anyone coming to this neck of the woods let me know and we will make sure you get to see all the best bits and a lot of places that tourists dont even know are there. Some just do the trails and never get off the main roads and really miss out. Here is another link with more photos from my part of the world just to make you all green with envy.
