This one is from the top of Burrow Hill looking toward Muchelney, the village that was cut off.

I'll get me wellies on, Zigs

(I've convinced myself the only reason I have a piddly puddle is because previously the willow would have gulped it all up!)

It's good to see things improving Zigs. Fingers crossed now for a good spell of dry weather to help it all dry out. :)

Thinkin about digging a girt sump in the middle of it, selling the rock that comes out & using the water that stays in it to defeat the oncoming hosepipe ban.

Not this bad Esther, the shots today is what its normally like at the end of winter, not this side of christmas. Not known villages to be totally cut off since the 1960's

Sheal, the water board will tell us its the wrong type of rain before putting the price up:biggrin:

Oh, bear in mind that all the lakes in the pics are normally fields.

We have some low lands in my area that flood like that when the streams crest after lots of rain.

When they flood, and I have my camera with me, and happen to be by that area in the daylight, I will take the pic.
