Having not been down West Bay for a while, I didn't notice straight away, but there is a dead patch of grass where the Generator used to be next to the caravan.

The neighbours noticed a man and a woman in the garden the other day, they phoned Sis but they had gone by the time she got down there.

It was a heavy beast, so they must have come back with a van to nick it, probably in the dark as they left the adaptor lead that was next to it.

Barstewards! Might it be worth building a wee generator hut (brick built) for the replacement?

Not going to bother again for now, i'll make do with gas & candle power. although it was about £300 new, I only paid £50 for it second hand. Its just annoying and the feeling of vulneralbility. The plot is at the back of a row of houses, the only access is down a narrow lane with houses either side.

Locking the door at night now, never normally bother.

No point in going to the police, can't even remember what make it was, let alone serial numbers:doh:

Just hope they dropped it on their foot or pulled a muscle.

You just can't take chances at all these days, if it's not bolted to the ground it'll get nicked. Bar stewards need their hands chopping off. I remember about 10 years ago now, I visited a hospital and in the tv room the tv was bolted to a stand which in turn was bolted (with a sort of ground anchor) to the floor. I asked why, was it to support the tv? The answer I got from one of the nursing staff was if it wasn't bolted to the floor it would get hinched!!!! Not by the patients, but the visitors!!!!!

Blimey Zigs, you can't trust anyone these days. What is more scary is the fact you know they've been watching the place ready to make their move.

:cry3: Just angry that this has happened to you

Plus they must have had a good rumage around, to see what was there, before coming back and taking it, With a bit of luck they will eletrocute themselves whilst trying it out
