    OK - I can disable the homepage, but that would mean that everyone going to the homepage would get an error message, and they would then have to click on the 'Forums' button above - this may be confusing for some people, so I will leave the page active and we will just have to wait for advice from @Webmaster

    Regarding the FAQ section - a good idea, but agian there would likely be a cost attached to creating that, and that would therefore be a decision for @Webmaster

      Surely the turn sticky off, check display, and turn sticky back on, again checking display, must be a zero cost option that's worth a punt?

      Or create new sticky threads on the same boards as the troublesome posts, and if that's OK simply move the posts from the problem threads to them, then delete the old threads?

      And if a new sticky doesn't work, cannibalize a working but redundant sticky thread, moving the posts from the redundant sticky to a new non-sticky thread.

          OK, I have twigged what the issue is, and the only solution is to create new threads; this problem may surface on other threads, so we will just have to pick them off as we go along.
