I'm not normally a Tulip fan but this variety looks lovely and would maybe like to try them next season. Are they tricky to grow? I live in a pretty cold climate but drainage is not bad. Do you need to lift them? and do they flower well after the 1st year? Thanks.

it must be pretty cold in your igloo alright Silu:rofllol:

i don't have much experience of Tulips in general tbh, we only ever had the "Angeligue" & red "Darwin" Tulips for a couple of seasons, i had them in large pots and had hoped they'd overwinter ok in them (like the daffs do) if i moved them into the shed out of the elements and they did flower the second season (although not as well) i decided to dig 'em up that autumn & store them like your supposed to but discovered that weevils had been having a good ol' time with them and their wasn't much left:gaah: it kinda put me off the 'ol Tulips but im hopin' to give them a bash this year:yes:
