    Has anyone grown this turnip?
I grew it this year and maybe I sowed it too late bout Aug/Sept im not sure, but it grew well, looked good, but when we eat it it always had a bitter after taste?
It may be that the ground is not nutrient rich enough, but nettles seem to grow well and i hear this is a good sign. My soil is well draining but i guess a little sandy. Anyone had similar issues?
Im going to try again this year but sow earlier on in year

We've grown it often Val but never had a problem with a bitter taste.
Usually sow it before the end of June.
This year we grew "Magres" swede which was sown on 21st May.
