Unknown Plant

    This is a picture of a plant my youngest son planted, he told me it is a peanut plant, the thing is when he brought it home i thought there was nothing in the plant pot, i put it on the window sill, forgot all about it and when i found it again this was growing, is there such a thing as a peanut plant :confused: [​IMG]

    Plant a peanut thats what you get! :cool:

    I get them in the garden where the birds get too frisky and knock them onto the flower beds. ;)

    think i,ll get some peanuts and plant one iff that what you get, ask him iff it is a bag of salted peanuts he used :D :D

    It won't last in the garden as its not hardy, but makes a fun houseplant. They don't seem to last but its easy enough to do another [​IMG] :cool:

    Stop i you iam killing myself laughing here, as far as i know he said it was a peanut shell, he planted it at school brought it home, as i said before i thought there was nothing in the pot, only found it today, cos they have got that many toys on the window sill, i have never watered it for about 8 weeks until today mind you it was bone dry, and to think i was going to put it in the bin, do you think i will get any peanuts of it :eek: :confused: :D :eek:

    well sunrise it is so funny, it must be quite hardy iff you couldnt kill it in 8 weeks without any water, iff you get any send me a bag quite partial to peanuts myself :D :D

    okay but we will have to see boys just in and jordan said it was a peanut shell he is so proud of his plant and said you could have a couple if you want :D :D :eek:

    Banana man i am not the green fingers type when it comes to house plants they usually die on me, i think that what rosa was getting at, just proved it hasnt it cos never touched it and still growing, now i have touched it it will be dead within the hour :eek: :eek: :D :D
