A few months back I got hard into gardening. At the time however, it was winter here in New York and I don't need to tell you what our winters are like. So, I decided I would start an indoor garden and then when the time came I would plant outdoors.

So far I've got a miniature rose growing in my hydroponic setup as well as some lettuce which I grow perpetually. I did have a cucumber and a couple tomatoes but I've planted those outside for now.

At the moment I'm focusing on keeping my miniature rose cuttings alive as well as propagating my cherry tomatoes.

I'm not really sure what I want to do with all of this stuff. I find the hobby fun.

      Welcome to Gardeners Corner Brae.
Is that what a New York residency looks like ? It so reminds me of ours in the UK.
What mini rose cuttings are you propogating? Are you going to keep them yourself or are you thinking of growing them to sell ?

Thanks for being so welcoming :) These particular cuttings are from a department store and were very clearly marked DO NOT PROPAGATE, but I'm a rebel. I think they're called Kordana roses. I'll probably just give them away to friends and family unless I can find a way around that whole 'do not propagate' thing. I think it would be awesome to be able to turn a profit from my garden.

These homes are newer 'low income' housing even though the rent is pretty high for the area. I'm looking to move out within the next year or so.
