I went into the greenhouse this evening,(about an hour ago)and at the top end there are about a hundred fly type thingies, they are about 1/4inch long, have brownish legs.I will try and get a picture.I am a bit worried to say the least as my greenhouse is full to bursting with chilli plants, they seem to be swarming mainly round the top but there are a few crawling round the plants. Please does anyone have any idea what they are? :(

No I don't think so its been like an oven in there today, door and windows open so they would have got in easily. I wish they would all leave the way they arrived.

No they were Ichneumons, they are related to wasps and ants, but are neither. Hornbeam solved the mystery for me. Thankfully they seem to have gone.Honey Bee I did try that yellow sticky paper in the greenhouse and its definately sticky stuff, the only problem with it was it seem to capture all the hover flies as well as my hair, lol! and sadly a robin that decided to go in for a nose.I didn't notice it until it was too late, poor thing :( I was very upset.
