    Your shrub looks like Viburnum bodnantense. It's a winter flowering shrub which brightens up any garden. :blue thumb:

    Wow. Thank you very much for your rapid response. Next to the main plant there seems to be a smaller version. This would not look different if it was dug up, if I was to do this and pot would it survive ?

    It's quite easy to start new plants from the shoots which appear at the base of the main plant.
    It's a bit early at present though, I'd wait until the leaves have fallen and the plant is dormant, then dig out the shoot, keeping as much of the root intact as possible and put in in a large pot straight away. Any time from November through to about February should be ok. :dbgrtmb:
