Decided to get rid of the awful fashionable blinds from my bedroom, and put curtains in and a nice windowsill garden. All the plants were cheap at wilkos, and they all just said 'Indoor foliage plant' on them. So, what have I been buying?

      Eeeerrmmm Clue,
I'd put some drip saucers under you new exhibits if I were you. Got visions of rivulets trickling down the bedroom wall there....

There in pots that don't have drain holes. No mess. It just means I have to let them dry out between waterings, I think. Got a similar arrangement in another window but with known plants, and its been thriving for at least a month now.

@Zigs, there was a warning on all of them saying not to eat them cos they're poisonous, but I just took that to be a modern day disclaimer, relieving wilkos of any liabilty in case someone put them in their salad.

Are they bad enough to warrant getting rid? Each plant was only £1.50 so if I have to get rid of some I will, but I think many house plants are a bit toxic, but no more so than many stuff that would be in the garden.

Pilea 'Moon Valley' that's what I have always it as.

Diefffenbachia Maculata ( or similar cultivar) DO NOT let children or anyone else get the sap on their hands (rash) or eat the leaves , tongue swells up so you can't speak, hence the name Dumb Cane.

          Kalanchoe sp

Croton Pictum (sap can sometimes cause irritation).

          Peperomia Clusiifolia.

          Does that help Clue?

I think I'll get rid of that one then. So just to be totally clear, the evil one is the middle plant, in the dark grey pot, in the top pic?

                    Thanks all:)

So I shouldn't put it outside next to a lighter and some rizzlas with a hand written note saying "Smoking this is bad, don't do it, sure it will make you higher than anything you've ever bought from some scally, but, well, just don't". ?
