Could somebody identify this plant. It was taken from a cutting several years ago and as you can see it has beautiful yellow flowers on it from early spring until end of May. It does sometimes flower again in late summer if conditions are right. [IMG]

Hi elainefiz, unsure just how long as it is in my mother in laws garden but it has been in a number of years. It could have been in longer than 6 years, will find out for sure later [IMG]

We have one in our garden too, a double (filled) one like you have pip. Although they look rather delicate they are really quite robust. Hubby often cuts ours back in late autumn/early winter or spades some of the roots off if it gets too big. I think this plant fits in most every garden and makes a lovely show.

I agree with roders, it's a Kerria japonica 'pleniflora', the double variety.

Sis, I had one at LH in the 80s that Angela gave me. They can bush out nicely if you keep them trimmed. I've seen them here for sale at Giga and have been tempted a couple of times ... but where to plant ??????

For elainefiz. The plant has been in for over 10 years. [IMG] [IMG]
