Apparently this is growing down a local river path - not my photo, and I'm afraid I don't know any more about it, but intrigued as to what it is?

Agree with Kevin, a Vinca. Depending on the size, minor or major. Minor has fingerprint sized flowers, major is the notorious escapee artist taking over the planet.

I have Vinca minor Illuminata, a delightful evegreen creeper. :)

        Hello

Just a Tip, if you are using Microsoft Edge.

If you Right Click on a Photo and Select 'Visual Search' it Opens a Window with Matching Photos.

Makes Identifying Plants very Easy :)

        Hope this Helps.

        Kevin

Probably a good tip @Kevin Cowans but I'm so cross with Microsoft I refuse to go near their edge!

Thank you! It struck me as such a pretty wee thing but not one I recall seeing before - apparently it is thriving down near the Amazon Studios in Shepperton.

I don't use Edge (except where I am forced to for some things on work PC) - aside from the fact that Microsoft are a hateful company, I simply don't like Edge. Brave is my browser of choice

            Hello @Fat Controller

            Very True about Microsoft, however.....

If everyone started Buying and Using Products from only Well Meaning Companies we would never have anything.

            Just My Opinion.

Must admit I find these plant ID on internet a bit boring.
It cuts down conversation and interest from others, much nicer if you can ask and get a reply from someone.
I'd only use an ID site for something that has stumped everyone.

                  I agree with pete 100%.

Below are images to show difference between Vinca minor and Vinca major.

Left is Vinca minor. Right is Vinca major.

I stole a cutting of V. major from a service station back in the 80s, its still around despite me pulling it out from time to time, its not as bad as it is often stated though.

I keep Vincas in pots, they can become problematic in the ground. They look nice in hanging baskets
