What kind of mackerel?

    I'm not sure whether this one should be under wildlife, but here goes.
    I regularly buy mackerel from various fishmongers hereabouts, in Somerset. I should ask them, but I always forget. What type of mackerel would this be? Atlantic mackerel, king mackerel, Spanish mackerel .... there is quite a difference in nutrients: for instance the king mackerel has got 4 times as much vitamin A as the Atlantic. Can't seem to find this out from the internet, can anyone help please?

        I thoght Mackerel was Mackerel, didn't reasile there was different types, only small ones and smaller ones sold by Morrisons.

          Thank you, that's good, I tend to get too much vitamin A and then I get stomach cramps. :frown:
