We now have a Song thrush, may be two, not hear or seen one in years, so hopefully they're on the up :):)

Not actually flying or buzzing but our three families of woodpeckers have been enjoying this for years. They've done a bit more work on it recently.

If I remember correctly, that's a French word for drunkard. Does it wobble all over the place when it swims? :heehee:

Are they the ones that keep going too fast and are asked to slow down?

We've been coming across quite a few ladybirds in the last couple of weeks. If they're in the way of what we're doing we remove them and put them into the greenhouse. Plenty of lovely plants for them there and we can always spot the occasional aphid in there.

Hubby came downstairs dripping wet, mid shower the other night. As I was about to start complaining about wet floors he explained a ladybird had joined him and was a bit wet :heehee:
Bless him, he was more concerned about where to dry out the ladybird than getting back in the shower
                            No pics, included ;)

As I was watching the birds at the feeders in my garden today a stunning Red Kite flew down to take one but failed in it's attempt. I only had it's back view but with it's wings spread the markings were amazing.

Just one pair of Yellowhammers visiting at the moment. Male below.
