Thanks @martin-f and @strongylodon it was definitely a Chiffchaff. :dbgrtmb: The plumage was less defined than the Sedge Warbler and it had a more rounded body. :)

PLEASE MAY I ASK FOR SOME HELP??

I've just gone into the ensuite to clean my teeth & noticed I have a baby blackbird in the shower, I've blinking disturbed him, he was asleep but now he's awake & alert. I've put in a bowl of water & a bowl of cat food. What I need to know is what would you do in the morning? Should I just open the velux window or should I carry him downstairs & put him in the garden? I don't know how he got in because all the windows have been shut today with the wind & rain, he might have been here since yesterday....now I'm fretting he's not had any food.
Any advice will be gratefully received thanks in advance xx

I would leave him in the dark while first light, then put him in a safe place in the garden, mum/dad will find him.

Thanks @martin-f :blue thumb:. Just to update you, baby blackbird started singing at 4.30, it was a wonderful sound :). I picked her up & took her outside, Daddy blackbird was singing (more like shouting) on the workshop roof, I put the baby in a bush, then ran back to the house, daddy blackbird flew straight to the bush :blue thumb:, phew! They are now reunited....me I'm tired from the worry & early start! :snooze: Worth it though! :dbgrtmb:
