    @Kandy, I haven't heard of Goldcrests suffering from any disease or problems, maybe a one off growth, as you know, the Chaffinch is the main bird for cauliflower feet.

            Hi Roders I have changed my description as I was only looking at the fact that it was black and white and on checking it appears that youngsters can have quiet yellow face variations.Lovely photo though:smile:
