              we know the weather was and still is a disgrace.... but fortunately some plants can cope fairly well

                    Despite (or because of) all the rain, my Lavender is rampant this year.
                    It's always a pleasure to sit on this bench, surrounded by the fragrant Lavender flowers and the sound of the bees happily buzzing in amongst them.

                    Here, I've combined the lavender with Clematis tangutica to cover a boring concrete garage wall.

                            My next door neighbour has 2 in her front garden which she bought in bud about 3 weeks ago. It is unfurling nicely and is peering out above the garden wall which is 4.5ft high. Our local nursery Great Park Farm,Battle sells it.
