:D On our firm we have a saying..."What do you call more than one Plumber/Sparky on a site?"....A Miracle!
capney, is it you thats got them in? If not, stop curtain twitching and get outside and find out - we need to know whats happening
Friend across the road is blitzing his bathroom. He is a plasterer by trade. (Part retired) Just goes to show, its not what you know,, its who you know that matters.
If its british gas you often get three or more vans as the enginers rarely have a clue and need reinforcments. I could tell an amusing story about a faulty termo couple in a rented property were I do the grounds and property maintance...... Pilot light kept going out, Bg called out as they did the servicing. Even I as a non corgi and with a basic knolwedge of heating know that the first point of call for a pilot light problem would be to try swaping the thermo couple..... Bg service engineer changes the gas valve, then the timer? before calling in another two vans...... four hours later they put the origional gas valve back in and changed the (faulty) thermo couple. I rekon im in the wrong trade!!!! Glad It wasnt me paying the bill.... said customer now uses a local heating firm for the servicing.
Whenever I do any plumbing it usually takes me three goes to stop the leaks that I've caused somewhere else. Looks like the professionals have the same trouble.
