A couple of days ago i was singing a song as i was clearing some leaves from the back garden. one of my neighbours asked me what was the name of the song and who wrote it. i knew the name of the song as i have been singing it since i was a kid, the name of the song was NATURE BOY but who wrote it ? i hadn't a clue .. At the first opportunity i did a bit of investigation, as to who wrote the lyrics to the song . i was Astounded to find out who wrote the song :yez:. The song was written by by a man called Eden Ahbez, in 1947. He did not work in a recording studio or the likes. He did not work. this man lived in Los Angeles under the HOLLYWOOD SIGN . He was homeless and had a long beard and long hair( a Christ like appearance ) . the idea of the lyrics and the song title came from the LA Police. when moving him on from his makeshift home they would say "Come On Nature Boy Move On" :(. there have been many artist's made recordings of this song, David Bowie,Frank Sinatra,Sara Vaughn , Nat King Cole, just to mention a few . Personally i prefer Nat King Cole's Version . Poor Eden Ahbez made no financial gain in the writing of this song, SAD. music .
Yes, Music. There is talent everywhere, and much of it unrewarded. I like Nat King Cole's version of the song. But I just like the song.
