      Good morning "M" yes I was taught to give Rose thorns respect and not to wear gloves so that we are on an equal footing:heehee: the only two times my thorn wounds were infected was due to the glove material entering the wounds,so now its a good wash and then savlon ;)

          Good afternoon I went to Homebase this morning just to look at some plants saw these fruit trees for £5 each and came back with a Braeburn apple tree,a Conference Pear tree,and a Victoria Plum tree:smile:

                        Wow! It's looking good Woo and you're filling it very quickly. The box will look good against the raised beds when it's matured a little. :dbgrtmb:

                          Thanks Sheal my friend much appreciated, I am finding that plants are so inexpensive in January that I keep snapping them up,the ones that need planting at a later date I am keeping in the greenhouse:smile:

                            I have only one climbing rose. The old fashioned one that starts with a Z , I think its spelled Zephine (something). anyway it is thornless, and spicy scented, and will grow 25 feet. Been looking for a wire topiary of a lady for it to climb on, armless, or half a arms, like a greek goddess. if you see one let me know.
