    What to do with compost

    Hi Fidgetsmum, I seive my compost to get the lumpy bits out and mix it 50/50 with the compost I buy at the garden centre. brilliant stuff, makes the bought compost go a lot further.Pete

    Hi Victoria. Pelleted chicken manure seems to translate as estrume granulado da galinha. Hope that helps. For further help with Portuguese try Babel Fish.

    Can my compost be saved?

    I don't have a veg patch only have a standard green compost bin. I will keep adding household bits to it and when I have help, we can tip everything out and mix it up. No rush though!
