Compost, Fertilisers & Recycling

Well, I got concerned when I found this article. If it's harmless then I'll leave it as, from what I've read, it's good for the soil. As it wasn't the usual white stuff, but instead a "toad stool", I thought it best to check out. That news story probably wasn't the best information to first read.

I've always used tomato fertilizer on mine, a weak solution on every 2nd watering. Not sure if this is best but the only problem i've had so far is having more cucumbers than i can use/give away!

You should be able to find some offered for free, although it may be more trouble to get. Many stables are only too glad to get rid of it, whereas where it is offered for sale you normally get it already bagged up and have easy access.

but don't forget to rip the tea bag in half, also some tea bags are made of nylon I belive and so don't break down, I have now started to use paper tea bags. I don't use Garotta either.
