    I don't think all frits do. I have a pot of f. Uva-vulpis and there's no pong. Whereas the imperial one nearby is definitely smelly

    Tulip bulbs - any tips on deterring rodents please (possibly squirrels) ?

    You could wrap the tubs around the sides with mesh tall enough to accommodate the height of the flowering bulbs and cap this with more mesh. Not aesthetically pleasing but a possible solution.

    The idea of pellets of lime is that it travels further when spread mechanically, reducing the amount of transits upon tramlines. Thought to be just as soluable as fines. Less dust too !
