How to stop my fence from slipping down the slope behind my garden?
It's going to be the Building Control plans that you need to see as Has Bean says. It's worth having a look on-line at the planning permission plans in case they do show retaining walls.

My daffs have been in the grass for 15 years and until this year they have flowered well. My thoughts are that we cut them down too soon last year so, on reflection, I will give them one more...

Cordyline Australis Problem
I use Arbrex Seal and Heal. In fact I used it yesterday on our cordyline. It seems to be a big improvement on the old style wound paint as it comes in a squeezy bottle with built-in applicator.

amazing thing to be able to do.I went to a wood fair at Bentley a couple of years ago and watched a guy turn a tree trunk into an eagles head in about an hour!!!
