What can I do with my garden? It is really in bad condition.
Wife's hayfever prevents having flowers. Also, I like to be outside in the summer, therefore I need a pice of grass to sit around.

The Joys of Gardening
Hope it doesn't get too cold again,Ive had to put plants in the cold greenhouse,no more spare windowsills.I cover them at night with newspaper.They have been fine so far.

Cutting back a Thuja hedge
I dont think Thuja will reshoot from brown wood, in the same way lawsons cypress or leylandii will not, and 15ft to 4ft is a big cut down.
