Growing Gailliardia from seed
I collected seed from garden escapees growing in the sand dunes, they're so bright and attractive. I will try early and late sowings too, to see which works best.

It helps with germination doesn't it? That's what I have been led to believe. The water softens the coat of the seed and 'primes' it for germination :cnfs:
