Rabbits eating bark?
Fine steel netting might work you could cut the size you required keeping it away from the trunk with strong DIY wire rings or timbers. Farming supplies would have the materials. Rabbit pie?

Slugs...urghhhh!!!!
each to there own have tried crushed egg shells to no avail tried oats heard one gardener on tv say they worked got lager in slug dishes not got one slug only thing that works for us is...

any advice on keeping rabbits out
Our son got the fright of his life when a rabbit was dropped on his head by a buzzard while he was walking through a wood. He also did a nice nice line in "Bunny Burgers" when he had his ferrets.

My African violet is being attacked by some white creatures
OK, Garden Insect Killer diluted in the water never worked as I thought. So resorted to old traditional way, washing up liquid diluted in the water and guess what, it seems to of worked. Tomorrow...
