Yes i am sure the packet wasn`t out of the seed box ,i dont think there was any wilkos seeds in the box .

Thats a good idea LMRR, I love Hostas but they just get decimated by slugs in my garden so gave up growing them, maybe I'll give them another go if I can find this fabric stuff.

I am growing Rocket early pots in a potato barrel. The leaves have been covered as they grew in the normal method. The leaves are now at the top of the barrel and I am letting them grow on. Problem is that the leaves look a bit poorly. Bobbly and a little curly is the only way to describe...

Pete, thank you for your reply. I thought it was strange to see it on apples. It was the spitting image. Unfortunately I removed the affected leaves and put them straight in the bin as if it was peach leaf curl so no pics. I'll wait and see what happens to the rest of the plant.

Well I've not tried it on mildew, but it does wash off very easily.I preferred Nimrod
