Hi guys, I found these lil critters on my Cherry tree sappling. can anyone tell me what they are? if they are harmful to the tree and what do I treat them with if so please? I noticed that there were a couple of ants feasting on the eggs

If they are white fly, they FLY when you brush the plant.

Its aphids, the white bits a shed skins. Black fly.Spray them, with an insecticide for edible plants.

Only had my Chives eaten once.Found the culprit....

The soil also looks very dry, I'm wondering if it's suffering from lack of water and perhaps nutrients?

I've found roundup works, perhaps not a total killer, but you only need one application per year.And it doesn't affect the soil.

Most of the plants are probably about a foot high now (I planted the seeds (indoors) a little late) - I did pinch them out in one tub (which had rather leggy plants at first) but it made little difference, the others in the remaining tubs aren't pinched out but seem to be growing nice and bushy...
