Hi there,If they are in good condition then you can repair them to any gardening center. If they are not able to repair them then it is better to replace them.

Secondhand, well worn, tools are likely to be a good purchase. They have stood the test of time, and will probably be dirt cheap too :thumb:

I got a Toro Wheelhorse on ebay for about £200, it worked fine and seems a quality machine. I sold it on to a friend who had it serviced and it's been going strong ever since.

Just to let you know, I should have my lawnmower back early next week. The agent for Hayter here on the island has managed to find someone to take over repairs and servicing.Phew! I can leave the scissors in the drawer. By the look of the weather forecast I won't need it before then anyway!

H Arti! Many mowers aren't a direct drive from the motor. There's a rubber drive belt between the motor pulley and the one on the blade shaft. If this is the case with yours, the belt may have snapped. There should be some sort of access panel which can be removed to change the belt. This is a...
