Our lads remove them simply because they are wider than a barrow and so easier to hide laid length ways. Funnily enough we had three barrows stolen in a week but the picks and shovels were left:D

As you say in your earlier post if the buyer needs to clean and touch up paintwork it will detract from price. Even though this will not improve the performance I have decided to give it a spruce...

What hedge trimmer shall i buy ?
Just bought a 63cm Spears & Jackson one on offer in Argos. Only £33 from £50.Think i need lessons though, given my shrubs a bit of a harsh pruning. Will post some pics on my other thread later.

I bought a new rotary mower today from "argos" Challenge xtreme 18volt and it has a cordless strimmer with it, my strimmer died and mower is old so i went for it, reduced from £149-99 to...

I've got one of those Capney. It's a long handled one in metal and I think it cost £1. Bargain ! I grow in deep beds and it's just perfect for raking up between the rows to get rid of weed...
